Accountability-as-a-Service – A Senior Engineer Watching Your Progress Every Week

€149/month · Weekly check-ins · Direct Telegram access · Limited to 25 clients

You don't need another course. You need someone watching.

Most developers fail not because they lack knowledge. They fail because nobody holds them accountable. You've watched the tutorials. You've read the docs. You know what to build. You're just not building it.

That's what I fix.

Limited to 25 clients. Cancel anytime.

The Problem This Solves

You know what to do. You're just not doing it.

  • You start portfolio projects but never finish them
  • You plan to apply to 10 jobs this week and apply to zero
  • You say "I'll refactor this tomorrow" and it's been 3 months
  • You've been "preparing for interviews" for 6 months without doing a single mock
  • You watch React tutorials but haven't shipped anything real

When it's just you, there's always tomorrow. When someone's watching, tomorrow becomes today.

How It Works

Monday: You Report Progress

You fill out a 5-question structured form (5 minutes):

  1. What did you accomplish last week?
  2. What blocked you?
  3. What's your #1 goal this week?
  4. What's the first action you'll take today?
  5. On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that you'll hit your goal?

These questions aren't busywork. They force you to acknowledge what you actually shipped (not what you planned), identify patterns in your blockers, and commit to one clear goal instead of five vague ones.

Tuesday: I Respond With Feedback

Within 24 hours, you get a 5-10 minute voice note from me:

  • I acknowledge real progress — "You shipped that feature. That's momentum."
  • I give one direct observation — "You've been blocked by CSS for 3 weeks. That's a skill gap, not bad luck."
  • I push back when needed — "You said 'build a full-stack app this week.' That's not a goal. That's a fantasy."
  • I end with action — "What's the first 30 minutes of work you'll do today?"

This isn't a bot. This isn't a template. I'm a Lead Engineer with 18 years of experience — I've seen your problem before and I'll tell you exactly what to do next.

Ad-Hoc: Direct Telegram Access

You're stuck at 2 PM on Wednesday and need a nudge.

Send me a voice note: "I'm stuck on this API call, not sure what's wrong." I respond within 2-3 hours: "Your fetch is missing the Authorization header. Here's the fix." You unblock yourself and keep moving.

This isn't unlimited consulting — I'm not debugging your entire codebase. But when you're stuck and need a quick push, I'm there.

Working hours: 9 AM – 6 PM Berlin time, Monday–Friday.

Who This Is For

Junior-to-mid developers building portfolio projects
You know React. You've built todo apps. But you can't finish a real project because you keep getting distracted or stuck.

Career changers who know the roadmap but can't follow it alone
You've completed freeCodeCamp. You know what to do. You just need someone making sure you do it.

Job seekers who've been "preparing" for months without shipping
You need someone asking "Did you practice this week?" every single week.

Developers who want a senior engineer actually watching their progress
Not a friend who half-listens. Someone who notices when you skip a week and asks why.

What Makes This Different

I'm not a bot. Most "accountability apps" send automated reminders that you ignore after week two. I'm a real engineer who reads your update and notices patterns:

  • "You've been stuck on authentication for 3 weeks. Let's solve it."
  • "You keep rewriting the same component. That's perfectionism, not progress."
  • "You shipped 3 features this month. What's next?"

I explain things clearly. If you've ever had an engineer explain something in jargon and left more confused than before, that won't happen here. I care about the explanation as much as the answer.

Limited to 25 clients. At 26+, I'd start rushing. The feedback would go generic. You'd become a number. I cap it so I remember your goals, notice when you go quiet, and actually care if you ship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a way to try this before committing monthly?

Yes — book a Ship It Session first. It's a focused 60-minute session where you pick one specific problem to work on. You'll experience how I think, explain things, and give feedback. No obligation after.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. Up to 4 weeks per year without losing your spot. If you need to pause, just let me know.

What if I miss a week?

Not a problem — just pick up the following week. If you go quiet for an extended stretch without a word, I'll reach out to check in. Consistent engagement is what makes this work, but life happens and that's understood.

Do you work with complete beginners?

Only if you've already finished a beginner course (freeCodeCamp, Codecademy, etc.) and built a few simple projects. I don't teach syntax — I help developers ship and get hired.

What timezone are you in?

Europe/Berlin (CET/CEST). The weekly check-ins are async so timezone doesn't matter. Telegram support runs 9 AM – 6 PM Berlin time on weekdays.

What if I need more than accountability?

For hands-on technical work, pair it with a Build-With-Me Intensive. Many clients combine both — weekly accountability keeps the momentum, Build-With-Me sessions unblock the hard problems.
